The hour is drawing ever-closer for GBBO!
That's right, the third series of The Great British Bake Off on Channel 4 has almost arrived on our screens and we can't wait to see what the contestants are going to conjure up for us.
Series veteran Paul Hollywood is back as a strict judge for the new run, with his Channel 4 judging partner Prue Leith continuing to provide fair and optimistic criticism alongside him.
Armed with puns and some sympathy are presenters Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig who will be keeping an eye on our bakers as they struggle and work hard to produce their best bakes.

The Great British Bake Off 2019 airs tonight (August 27) at 8pm on Channel 4.
It is also available to watch live on 4oD and will be available on the catch-up service following the end of the episode.
Episode 1 is the classic Cake Week and the bakers must tackle a complex fruit cake, a retro Technical, and a Showstopper that takes the bakers back to their childhoods.
