What time is the Diana documentary on ITV ahead of her 60th birthday?

Diana, Princess of Wales, would have turned 60 on July 1 and to mark her milestone birthday ITV is airing a new feature-length documentary, simply titled Diana.

The documentary will draw viewers into Diana’s life, following the Princess from her job as a nursery assistant to the iconic public figure she became after marrying Prince Charles in 1981.

It comes just three months after ITV screened Oprah Winfrey's interview with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle which caused headlines around the world.

When is Diana going to be aired on ITV?

Diana, which includes rare archive material and new testimonies, will be aired on ITV on Thursday, June 24 at 9pm.

ITV is aiming to go “behind the headlines to provide a vivid insight into the complex woman behind the media image”.

It comes a week before a statue of Diana - who died in August 1997 - will be installed in the garden at Kensington Palace on July 1 to mark what would have been her 60th birthday.
