Scots will be able to get the latest update on the current coronavirus situation in Scotland as MSPs gear up to debate the new five-tier lockdown plan today.
Nicola Sturgeon last week published details of the new system which will be used to decide local lockdown restrictions in each area during winter.
Areas of the country with higher rates of Covid-19 infections are expected to face tough measures in a bid to slow the spread of the virus.
The five-tier framework is set to be debated in the Scottish Parliament this afternoon after a leaked letter revealed the restrictions being considered for each area in Scotland.
Level four - the toughest level of restrictions - could be imposed on North and South Lanarkshire while Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee are moved to level three.
Aberdeen could be placed at level two while more rural council areas - where transmission of the virus is lowest - could be placed at level one.
The new rules could come into place from November 2 if they are given the green light by MSPs in Holyrood.

The debate at the Scottish Parliament today begins at 3.20pm.
It will be available to watch on BBC One Scotland and the BBC Scotland channel from 3.15pm.
Nicola Sturgeon will not hold a media briefing at lunchtime.
