The draw for the third round of the Carabao Cup will be made this evening as Everton and Liverpool prepare to learn their fate.
Rafael Benitez's side advanced to the next stage of the competition after defeating Huddersfield Town last night, meanwhile Jurgen Klopp's men were not in second round action due to competing in Europe this season.
Liverpool were knocked out in the fourth-round of last season's competition after losing 5-4 on penalties to Arsenal at Anfield, meanwhile the Blues were defeated in the quarter-final by Manchester United.
Manchester City are the current holders of the Carabao Cup and have claimed the trophy in each of the last four seasons.
Here is all you need to know ahead of tonight's draw.
What time is the draw?
The draw will be made following Arsenal's second round clash with West Bromwich Albion at the Hawthorns this evening, with kick-off scheduled for 8pm. Depending on how that match progresses - with penalties a possibility - the draw is expected to take place around 9.50pm.
