What time is Nicola Sturgeon's lockdown and school announcement today?

Nicola Sturgeon is to give an update today which will outline any potential changes that could be made to Scotland's current lockdown measures.

Speaking at the daily coronavirus briefing yesterday (15 February 2020) the First Minister confirmed that she is "very, very keen" to see the first phase of schools return on February 22 and that she will set out a decision on what year groups this would affect.

However, touching on what other changes there may be implemented she warned Scots not to raise their expectations "too high" adding that there were no plans to 'signal the opening of bars and restaurants.'

Speaking yesterday Nicola Sturgeon said: "I am very very keen to go ahead with that if at all possible and the whole cabinet is of that view.

"I don’t want to raise expectations too high but we will lay out even if it is the indicative timetable for the next groups of pupils that are perhaps likely to return to school, but that’s not going to be immediate

"All of the data right now is encouraging, it's going in the right direction.
