What time is Nicola Sturgeon's speech today and how to watch the Scotland 5 tier lockdown debate

Nicola Sturgeon will present her revised five-level coronavirus restrictions in a parliamentary debate at the Scottish parliament today.

On Friday, the First Minister published the new framework, which put different areas of Scotland into tiers depending on their level of Covid transmission.

Nicola Sturgeon said that today the different tiers will be "clarified" in parliament after consulting with local authorities and health boards over the weekend.

Ministers will then decide later in the week, on advice from the national incident management team, chief advisors and local councils, what level will initially apply in which parts of the country.

According to a leaked document, Edinburgh looks set to enter tier three of the restrictions, which would see alcohol sales both indoors and outdoors banned with some restaurants able to open under strict conditions.
