What time is Nicola Sturgeon's covid speech today? Where can I watch and what to expect?

Nicola Sturgeon is set to give an update on the coronavirus situation across Scotland later today from the Scottish Parliament.

The First Minister will address MSPs in Holyrood as cases continue to drop following a spike in June and July due to the Delta variant which originated in India.

During the speech the SNP leader is also expected to announce the latest covid figures regarding the number of cases and deaths recorded in the last 24 hours.

Sturgeon will reveal whether Scotland will be able to move out of the Levels System on August 9.

If the country moves out of lockdown then the majority of restrictions will be dropped, however Scots will still be required to wear masks in enclosed spaces.
