What time is new Man Utd v Liverpool kick-off? Premier League match delayed after Old Trafford protests

A new kick-off time for Manchester United v Liverpool has been confirmed after fan protests outside Old Trafford and the home team's hotel delayed the scheduled start.

Man Utd v Liverpool's new kick-off time could be 6.30pm or 7.30pm.

The Manchester Evening News report that both times have been mooted but nothing has been made official yet.

Thousands of fans staged a protest outside Old Trafford on Sunday ahead of the scheduled 4.30pm kick-off, with some fans gaining entry to the ground and storming onto the pitch.

It's all part of a protest against the club's Glazer owners in the wake of the failed breakaway European Super League in April.

Fans have also been airing their discontent outside The Lowry Hotel in Manchester, where the home side's players have been waiting to depart from to head to their game.
