The launch of the Microsoft Flight Simulator is finally here, a year after the release of the PC debut, making it a later release than usual.
But the much-anticipated launch is well worth the wait with its satellite, scenic imagery and geographic data, taking you to the skies in your very own plane.
Users will be able to glide through the skies as a pilot on this new simulator, and explore the world’s surroundings – with exciting places like London, Iceland and Manhattan.

With the ability to choose any location to fly around, seeing places of the world in this game incorporation of destinations you may never have known or seen.
The game includes over 900 airports to fly from, around 188 aircraft and 340 sceneries as well as multiple mission packs this game is perfect for any inner pilot.
The Microsoft Flight Simulator was released on PC a year ago, and is now launching on the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S today.
What time is the Microsoft Flight Simulator launch on Xbox today?
The new Microsoft Flight Simulator will be available on the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S in the UK at 4pm today.
Gamers will be able to download the game from 4pm, and jump straight into their flight as a pilot and take off from any chosen airport.

Games have also taken to Twitter with the excitement of the new release for the Xbox with one saying: “I'm excited to give Microsoft Flight Simulator a try".
Another added: “Cannot wait to try this!”.
With another tweeting: “My first flight on the Microsoft Flight Simulator will be back home because I miss it so damn much”.
Will the Microsoft Flight Simulator be available on Xbox One?
The Microsoft Flight Simulator is only available for either the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S – but will not be available for Xbox One just yet.
But if you’re willing to wait a bit longer to get your hands on this Flight Simulator, you may eventually be able to play it from the Xbox One but this may not be for quite some time.
A post from Microsoft suggests that a compatible version of the game could become available for the Xbox One but nothing has been confirmed for what date this would be released.
