What time is Mark Drakeford's announcement today and what will he say?

Mark Drakeford is set to lead a press conference later today to provide an update on the latest coronavirus situation in Wales.

The announcement will see the First Minister share the findings of the latest three-week review.

Ahead of the briefing, Drakeford confirmed: "This week we completed our 21-day review of the coronavirus regulations in Wales.

"I'll be holding a press conference today to provide an update on the latest public health situation and the steps we all need to take to keep Wales safe."

What time is Mark Drakeford's announcement and what will he say?

Mark Drakeford will lead a Welsh Government press briefing at 12:15pm on Friday, September 17.

A decision on vaccine passports is due to be included in his announcement.

Drakeford has said he was "sceptical" over the need for the measure but could be convinced of their necessity if public health benefits outweighed their disadvantages. Read more here.
