What time is Love Island on? ITV2 show returns for first ever winter series

We've got a text! After months of counting down, the first ever winter edition of Love Island is here!

It's been six months since Amber and Greg won series 5 of the hit ITV programme and in 2020 it will have two series, with the first one arriving much earlier than you usual, with new presenter Laura Whitmore at the helm, after replacing Caroline Flack.

Yes, while temperatures drop across the UK, a host of singles have jetted out to South Africa to get millions of viewers hot under the collar with their antics in a luxury £5.3m villa.

As they flirt, date, break up and make up, the new will be trying to capture the hearts of each other - and the nation - as the viewers decide their favourite couple and declare them the Love Island series 6 winners.

Laura teased a bombshell would be dropped immediately and it looks like it may have happened already as two girls are missing from the Love Island villa.

What time is Love Island on?

The launch episode of Love Island series 6 will run from 9pm - 10.35pm on Sunday night.

Just like in the summer, it will then be on the channel at 9pm every night, with most episodes lasting 60 minutes. Monday's episode will be followed by the first Aftersun.
