What time is Kirsty Williams' announcement today?

Kirsty Williams will make an announcement today on Tuesday, November 10 about what should happen with next year's GCSE and A-level exams in Wales.

It's thought the education minister will make a statement confirming whether or not the exams will go ahead in 2021.

It is being reported that GCSE exams will be replaced by grades based on coursework and assessments and some changes are planned for the A-level exams.

It comes after Ms Williams said last month she wanted to delay an announcement until all pupils were back in school after the "circuit breaker" extended half term.

But what time will Kirsty Williams be speaking?

As there's no press conference today, the first minister will make the announcement on her Twitter channel at noon.

On Monday, she posted on her social media channel: "Really good to meet with more young people yesterday to hear their views on next year's assessments.

"I will be announcing plans for next year on Tuesday 10th November."

While a video announcement will be published on Twitter at 12pm, the education minister is also expected to take Wednesday's press conference.

The Welsh Government briefings are Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week at 12:15pm and are accessible through their social media channels.
