Daylight savings time can be pesky and this year is no different as millions of people across Ireland are waking up on Sunday morning completely confused as to what time it is.
The rule, which sees the clocks go back one hour every autumn and forward one hour every spring, is set to be changed in 2022 by the EU in order to try and get uniformity across the continent.
However, it is unclear whether Ireland will be part of that change, as officials do not like the idea of having two separate time zones in Ireland, which would be the case if daylight savings is done away with.
What time is it in Ireland?
At time of writing, it is 7.15 am.
Your best bet to find out though, is to do what anyone does when they have an unanswerable question.
If you google it, you'll be set on the right way thanks to the help of Timeanddate.com.
The nifty website will keep you posted on your time zone, as well as a few handy ones from around the globe just in case you want to call someone.
What about my phone?
The majority of technological items - phones, laptops and such - will have changed automatically at 2am (when DST officially ended).
What about my car?
We can't help with this one. Our best advice is if it isn't showing the right time, just go with it until spring and then you'll be smug when DST starts again.
When does Daylight Savings Time start in 2022?
At the moment, it will begin on March 22, but that could change in the meantime if Ireland joins in with the EU plan.
