What time is France v Germany Euro 2020 kick-off? TV channel, live stream info and team news

Continent big-hitters France and Germany clash in Munich in a mouthwatering game to kick off the teams' respective campaigns.

What is the latest team news?

Recalled Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema has recovered from the knock he picked up in the pre-tournament friendly against Bulgaria and is available for selection.

Antoine Griezmann and Raphael Varane have also shaken off complaints to be available, while Kurt Zouma has an unspecified issue.

France have no other concerns - other than a potential feud between strikers Olivier Giroud and Kylian Mbappe, who appeared to fall out over an incident in the game against the Bulgarians.

Giroud's comments post-match were construed by some as a dig against Mbappe.

"I was quiet because sometimes you make a run and the balls just don't arrive," Giroud said. "I don't always pretend to make the right calls, but I have tried hard to give solutions in the area."

"What he said does not bother me more than that," Mbappé said in response at the weekend. "He expresses a feeling when he speaks. I'm a forward and I've had that feeling 365 times in a game, when you feel like you're not being served.

"It's more about releasing it publicly. I saw him in the dressing room, I congratulated him on his goals, he didn't say anything to me. I heard about it in the press. That's more [important] than what he said - he didn't say anything bad."

For Germany, Jonas Hoffman will miss the match with a knee injury but was never likely to start against the French. 2014 world champions Thomas Müller and Mats Hummels are back in the squad after more than two years in the wilderness.

Who is the France v Germany referee?

Carlos del Cerro Grande (ESP)

What have the managers said?

Joachim Löw, Germany coach : "We have prepped well over the last two weeks. We took steps in the right direction, we have a great atmosphere in the camp and there's both eagerness and ambition. This is what you can feel and we’re looking forward to start tomorrow."

Didier Deschamps, France coach: "It's a massive game to start with. It's a massive game for us but also for the Germans as we are both among the top European nations. The objective is to be effective in both boxes as that's where the game will be decided."
