What time is Eastenders on New Year's Day? Keanu's fate revealed in hour long special

It's one of the biggest TV mysteries of the festive season and on Wednesday night, we'll finally get to see what really happened to Keanu.

While not watched by quite as many viewers as expected, there is no denying that EastEnders Christmas Day episode brought plenty of drama, with the 5 million people who tuned in thoroughly gripped by the hour-long special's many twist and turns.

At the centre of the grizzly goings on was the aftermath of Phil finding out that daughter Louise's boyfriend Keanu was the father of Sharon's baby.

The reveal saw Martin Fowler shockingly roped into killing Keanu, with Louise actually in on the whole thing! Viewers speculated that the once mild-mannered fruit stall owner wouldn't be able to go through with it the deadly deed, but a video he showed to Ben suggested otherwise.

Elsewhere on the square Linda's drink problem continued to cause great concern as she was missing from the Carter's table for Christmas dinner.

What REALLY happened in Albert Square will be revealed in a to Christmas Day.

Fans have been coming up with all sorts of theories involving Linda, Keanu and even his mum Karen and before long we'll find out if any of them were spot on.

What time is EastEnders on New Year's Day?

It will be on for 60 minutes from 8 - 9pm.

Its New Year's Eve episode will air on 7.30pm and then EastEnders will be on again on Thursday, January 2 at 7.30pm.
