What time is Celtic v Sheffield Wednesday and what TV channel is the pre-season friendly on?

Celtic are back in action in their pre-season friendly against Sheffield Wednesday this afternoon.

And it will be new boss Ange Postecoglou's first game in charge of the Glaswegians.

It was a disastrous year for Celtic in the 2020/21 season as Rangers ended their 10-in-a-row hopes.

And as Neil Lennon departed the club, they will be hoping for a trophy laden spell under their new manager.

Here is everything you need to know about the game.

Where is the game on and what time is kick off?

The game is taking place at Dragon Park, Newport, Wales.

Kick off for the game is at 3pm.

What TV channel is it on?

Unfortunately the game has not been selected for live TV coverage.

Can I stream it?

The game will be available to stream for Celtic season ticket holders on their 'Pass to Paradise' and is also available to watch on Celtic TV with a paid subscription.

What are the teams?

The teams have not yet been announced but you can find them here as soon as they are.

What are the betting odds?

Celtic are favourites for the game and are priced at 3/4.

Their opponents are priced at 11/4 with a draw 13/5.

What can we expect?

Given the sides are starting out pre-season training, we will not be expecting a classic by any means.

Both sides will be expected to give most of the players in their squad a run out in the game on Wednesday as they gear up for the new season.
