What time is Britain's Got Talent on? ITV show back for new series

You know it's Easter weekend when Britain's Got Talent returns to TV and, sticking with tradition, it's back on Saturday night.

While it was revealed a few weeks ago that the Britain's Got Talent live shows had been postponed due to coronavirus, the audition stages have already been recorded, with viewers getting their first look at this year's acts on Saturday.

A statement from ITV said: “We have been working with the brilliant production teams at Thames and Syco to find a way of making the live finals work, which were due to be broadcast at the end of May.

“However, in light of the latest government health guidelines and in line with our priority of safeguarding the wellbeing of everyone involved in our programmes, production of the live shows cannot go ahead as planned.

"The live finals will therefore be broadcast later in the year.”

So for now we have the auditions to look forward to as a whole host of hopefuls look to follow in the footsteps of past BGT winners like Diversity, Collabro and last year's champion Colin Thackery.

What time is Britain's Got Talent on?

It will kick off on Saturday, April 11 at 8pm and run until 9.25pm.

There won't be any episode of Britain's Got More Talent on ITV2.
