What time does TRNSMT Festival 2021 start and finish each day and who is on the line up?

Scotland 's biggest festival is back and bigger than ever for its 2021 weekend as attendees prepare to descend on Glasgow Green.

After last years cancellation, and this year's rocky road out of restrictions ,bosses pushed TRNSMT 's date back again from July to September to allow more time for social distancing restrictions to be lifted.

Taking place across the weekend of September 10-12 at Glasgow Green, acts are spread across three different stages: Main Stage, King Tuts Stage and the River Stage.

Festival gates will open at 11am across the weekend, and close again at 11pm after all acts have finished.

Friday 10 September

The first day of the festival, Friday 10 sees headlining performance from Courteeners, with supporting sets throughout the course of the day from Sam Fender, Blossoms, The Snuts, AJ Tracey, Yxng Bane, Inhaler, House Gospel Choir and Sports Team.

Across King Tuts Stage on the Friday acts like Little Simz, Joy Crookes, The Lathums, Griff, Holly Humberstone, Berwyn, Red Rum Club and Shambolics are playing the festival.

The smaller River Stage will see performances from The Ninth Wave, Walt Disco, Vlure, Gallus, Another Sky, The Mysterines, and One Nine.

Saturday 11 September

On Saturday 11, headlining the festival is Oasis legend Liam Gallagher, with support from Primal Scream, Twin Atlantic, Keane, KSI, Picture This, Sea Girls, Vistas and Nathan Evans.

King Tuts Stage sees sets from artists like Becky Hill, Declan Welsh and The Decadent West, Dylan John Thomas, The Murder Capital, Georgia, Miraa May, Voodoos and Mike McKenzie.

River Stage will have performances from artists Lucia and The Best Boys, Baby Queen, Chubby and the Gang, Charlotte Jane, THE HARA, Spyres, and Theo Bleak.

Sunday 12 September

On closing day of the festival, Sunday 12 will see headlining act The Chemical Brothers close TRNSMT with support from Snow Patrol, Amy Macdonald, Dermot Kennedy, Declan McKenna, Jay1, Ella Eyre and Lyra.

King Tuts stage sees closing performances from Tom Odell, Josef, Ash, Ryan McMullan, Ms Banks, Kawala, Luke La Volpe, Tamzene.

Final performances on the River Stage will include Saint PHNX, Pip Blom, Aaron Smith, VUKOVI, David Keenan, Lucy Blue and Sara 'N' Junbug.

Fans are looking forward to this much anticipated weekend after waiting over two years since TRNSMT's last festival.
