It has been almost a year since we last visited the sci-fi world of Doctor Who but luckily for fans everywhere - it's back.
The last episode to air was the New Year's Day Special, aptly titled 'Resolution', on January 1 2019 but the BBC promised that it would return for another run.
Whilst there has been no festive special this year, the 10-episode series will begin on New Year's Day 2020.
Jodie Whittaker will reprise her role as the Time Lord after becoming the first female to portray the iconic character.
The brand new series will return with the first half of a two-part special entitled 'Spyfall' - a take on James Bond if you didn't pick up on it.

It will air at 6.55pm on BBC One on Wednesday, January 1 before the series continues as normal on Sunday, January 5 at 7pm.
The first of the action-packed episodes will see attacks around the globe put Earth's security in danger and it's up to the Doctor and her trusty companions Ryan (Tosin Cole), Yaz (Mandip Gill) and Graham (Bradley Walsh) to save the day.
And when the tardis does full return to TV screens, fans of the show can expect to see a few new famous faces popping up.
Stephen Fry and Sir Lenny Henry will appear on the very first episode with Robert Glenister, Goran Višnjić and James Buckley also appearing in the shows 12th run.
