High street retailer M&S has set aside two days of the week where it gives priority access to NHS workers.
Although Marks & Spencer's clothing stores are closed due to Government's orders while the country is in lockdown, its Food Halls remain open.
Like most retailers, M&S has made changes to its Food Halls and how they operate in order to protect its staff and customers whilst also ensuring those most in need are able to get essentials.
As well as dedicating certain days to NHS staff it also offers priority access to vulnerable and older customers on a Monday and Thursday.
Today, M&S Food halls are open from 8am-8pm with the first hour of trading reserved for NHS and emergency service workers as well as health and social care workers.
They are also given priority on Tuesdays too from 8am-9am.
M&S has Food Halls based on Liverpool Shopping Park on Edge Lane, Aintree Shopping Park and Queens Drive. You can find your nearest store here.
Marks & Spencer caused excitement among shoppers this week by releasing a Percy Pig flavoured ice cream - some customers even said the retailer had "made dreams come true" by the announcement.
Although, it has proved so popular it is currently sold out in some stores.
