What time does Aldi open and close today on bank holiday Monday?

The early May bank holiday is officially here and many supermarkets and stores will be operating at reduced opening times. It means if you're planning to head to the shops it's worth taking note of their hours.

Aldi is among the supermarkets that has changed its opening times on Monday, May 2. While the majority of its stores are still opening at 8am as usual, most will close at 8pm which is two hours early. It comes as the store's 860 branches across England and Wales opened as normal on Saturday, April 30 and Sunday, May 1 to ensure customers could pick up everything they needed to enjoy the long weekend.

As always though, the opening times of some stores may vary, so customers should check details on Aldi’s website before their trip. Opening hours in Scotland remain unchanged.

If you're planning on heading to your local Aldi this bank holiday, the stores says it has everything shoppers need to enjoy their day thanks to its award-winning range of food and drink, including a host of BBQ favourites, irresistible sides, delicious desserts and an array of tipples. Aldi also offers its click-and-collect service at over 200 stores, meaning thousands of shoppers can access Aldi groceries online. Shoppers can choose from a full range of grocery items online, then drive to their local store where their shopping is brought to their car by Aldi colleagues.
