Amy Broadhurst and Lisa O'Rourke are both fighting in World Championship finals this evening in what promises to be a momentous day for Irish boxing.
Louth woman Broadhurst will be going for gold in the light welterweight division against Algeria's Imane Khelif while Roscommon native O'Rourke will be going for the honour of being crowned light middleweight champ versus Helena Alcinda Panguane of Mozambique.
They will be looking to replicate the historic successes of Katie Taylor and Kellie Harrington in today's evening session in Istanbul.
There are no exact fight times but the session will begin at 4 pm and there are three other bouts on before Broadhurst steps up.
And O'Rourke's fight is straight after hers so we're probably looking at around about 5 pm.
