Manchester City may have been crowned Premier League champions just 25 days ago but a new season of top-flight football is already heading our way.
This season, the campaign kicks off earlier than usual due to the World Cup in Qatar.
As such, teams have already begun getting their transfer business started, with City signing Erling Haaland and Liverpool bringing in Darwin Nunez from Benfica.
Anticipation is already building, and with the fixtures being announced, that sense excitement will only rise.
When are the Premier League fixtures announced?
The full Premier League fixture list for the 2022/23 season will be released at 9am on Thursday, June 16.
The fixtures are subject to change due to TV selections, while the FA Cup, EFL Cup and European matches will also have a say on dates and times.
When does the Premier League season start?
The top-flight campaign begins on Saturday, August 6, but like last year there could be a Friday night fixture to begin with, which would be August 5. It is one week earlier than the previous campaign.
When does the Premier League season end?
The season will end on Sunday, May 28 2023.
What about the World Cup?
With so many players involved in the global tournament later this year, the Premier League and Championship will pause proceedings for a few weeks.
The 16th round of Premier League matches falls on November 12-13, and there will then be a pause for the World Cup in Qatar. The Championship will also stop at this stage.
The Championship is then set to resume on Saturday, December 10. League One and League Two games will continue as planned throughout the competition.
The World Cup final is on Sunday, December 18, with the Premier League resuming eight days later on Boxing Day.
