What time are the NTAs on TV? Stars gather at O2 Arena for annual bash

The red carpet has been rolled out, the trophies polished and winners put into envelopes and there are now just hours to go until the National Television Awards 2020.

The annual bash has been going for 25 years now, with Ant & Dec dominating most of those by winning loads of accolades, including Best Presenter for 18 years in a row.

The Geordie duo will go for their 19th consecutive win in that category as this year's National Television Awards, which will be presented by new host David Walliams.

for this year, as well as Ant & Dec, include big dramas like Killing Eve and Peaky Blinders and Ru Paul's Drag Race UK, which is on the shortlist for the first time.

Like they have been years now, the awards will be shown live on TV, meaning you'll be able to see every award handed out and the inevitably too long acceptance speeches.

If you're fancying a night in front of the TV to watch the NTAs on Tuesday, here's all you need to know.

How to watch the National Television Awards on TV

Live coverage will get going on ITV at 7.30pm, with it following an hour behind at 8.30pm on ITV+1.

The show is set to be on air until 10pm on ITV and 11pm on ITV+1.

Red carpet and behind the scenes coverage will be hosted by Love Island couple Curtis Pritchard and Maura Higgins.
