Voters across the UK are heading to their local polling station today to have their say in the General Election.
They're voting to elect a Member of Parliament (MP) who they think will best represent their views in the House of Commons.
In total, 650 MPs will be chosen in the election on Thursday, December 12, but when will we find out the results? And when will we know who the Prime Minister will be?
All polling stations will open at 7am and close at 10pm.
Staff at the stations will then need to count up the results within four hours of the close of poll.
There are two stages to this.
Firstly, staff will count the number of ballot papers, and then they will count the votes on the ballot papers.
The second stage should start by 2am, therefore the final results will be delivered through those early hours of the morning.
So, by the time you wake up on Friday, December 13 - which is a notoriously unlucky day for the superstitious - you should know which political party will be in power over the UK and which is representing your local constituency.
