What time are A-level 2020 results out?

The day has finally arrived for A level students to find out their results.

It's not been the easiest time after the coronavirus pandemic brought teaching to a halt and meant that the 2020 summer exams were cancelled.

This meant that instead of the usual paper examination determining a final grade, pupils' results will instead be based on predicted outcomes.

However, a swift change earlier this week also means that students' have the options of using their mock exam results, which were sat in January, instead of the grade that has been predicted.

The grades will still be used for whatever students planned to do next, from those who have applied to go to university this year or those getting their foot straight onto the career ladder of their dream job.

As for when they are released, the exam board usually has the results ready from 6am and UCAS will already have your results ready to be updated from 8am.

But it will be the school or college that will determine the pick-up time for many students which can be from any time this morning (August 13).

Some have also decided to release results online to avoid students having to go into their school or colleage.
