Wexford and Kildare will meet tonight as they get their O'Byrne Cup title underway.
Kildare are in their second year under their all star coaching ticket and there will be optimism in the county going into 2023.
The side disappointed when they faced Dublin in the Leinster Championship last year and were beaten by Mayo in the qualifiers.
But they will be looking forward to success in 2023 and that starts with the O'Byrne Cup.
