What time and TV channel is Westmeath v Laois on today in relegation play-off?

Laois will be hoping to make home advantage count when they take on Westmeath at O’Moore Park in the National League Division 1 relegation play-off later today.

The O’Moore men are looking to put the disappointment of last weekend’s narrow defeat against Waterford at Nowlan Park by maintaining their Division 1 status.

That will be no easy feat however, as Westmeath – who are fresh off the back of a victory against Kerry in the Joe McDonagh cup - will have their sights firmly set on dispatching Laois to the lower division.

The fixture was earmarked to be a pre-cursor to the All-Ireland semi-final next month but due to other championships ongoing in Laois from last year, the game has been brought forward.

Westmeath are no strangers to the jaws of relegation, but they will be hoping lightning can strike twice as they look to defeat Laois and stay in the top flight.

Here is everything you need to know about the game.

Where and when is the game being played?

The game is scheduled for a 7:30pm throw in at O’Moore Park and will be broadcast live on TG4.

There will also be a live blog covering the game right here on Irish Mirror Sport.
