Celtic travel north to Perth to face rock-bottom St Johnstone on St Stephen's Day.

The Hoops dropped points in a disappointing 0-0 draw with St Mirren during the week and will be hoping to get back to winning ways here.

Here's what you need to know about St Johnstone v Celtic:

Where and when is it?

The match takes place at McDiarmid Park on Sunday, December 26.

Quotes corner

Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou: “There is no games you go into thinking they are going to be less of challenge and St Johnstone will be a challenge for us.

“All teams are struggling at the moment just with getting bodies out on the park, we are no different.

“We have to make sure we continue the consistency in the performances we have shown.

“Even on Wednesday night the performance was good, we have to make sure we find a way to put the ball in the net.”

St Johnstone boss Callum Davidson: "The league table doesn’t lie.

“We have had some bad decisions but ultimately the confidence is at rock bottom just now with the players.

“So there is only one way we can go. We can start fighting or roll into a little hole and cry about it.

“I am not that type of person. I want to keep fighting.

“I don’t like losing games. If players don’t want to do that then they won’t be here, it’s as simple as that.”

Betting odds
