Less than seven days after their last encounter, the top two sides in England lock horns again as Manchester City and Liverpool face off in the semi final of the FA Cup.
Last week's thriller at The Etihad ended 2-2 after a pulsating 90 minutes of world class football. City were the better side for much of last Sunday's tie and really should have punished Liverpool for a very sloppy first half from Jurgen Klopp's men.
Both sides come into this game in high spirits after booking their place in the Champions League semi finals during the week. City drew 0-0 with Atletico Madrid in a tense tie at the Wanda Metropolitano, meaning Kevin De Bruyne's first leg goal was all that separated the sides after two legs.
Liverpool on the other hand drew 3-3 at home to Benfica. Having already won 3-1 in Lisbon, The Reds progressed to the semi finals 6-4 on aggregate and will meet Villareal in the last four. However, Klopp was unhappy with his side's defensive performance on Tuesday, and will need his men to be at their best if they are to keep their hopes of an historic quadruple alive.

Quotes Corner
Jurgen Klopp on resting players for Wednesday's game : "The reason for Mo not starting was easy. Even if Mo had scored four goals in the last game he wouldn't have started yesterday.
Mo played (for Egypt) in January and February six times 120 minutes so now we can just close our eyes and say 'Who cares?’.
Even he is just a human being and it was clear there would be games when he can’t start, games where we take him off, and he hates that. But it’s clear.
People might think what I’m actually doing the whole day is to think about these things but when these things are really a necessity to do it is clearly the case."
Pep Guardiola: "We are in big trouble.
We can't forget we played three days ago, travelled, came to Madrid, have a lot of injuries now and I don't know what will happen in the next weeks.
But today we celebrate, because it's only the third time in Manchester City's history we're in the Champions League semi-finals.”
Aymeric Laporte : “We have the team to go to the end to win everything, but we know exactly where we are, and we know we are fighting in three competitions.
We know that it will be tough, but I think that we can do it and we will go for that. [This week] is something amazing that we probably don’t realise right now.
I think if everything goes how we want then it can be one of the greatest weeks as a professional.
We have to keep focused, keep doing what we are doing and hopefully we can win the matches. When you win a match, it is always easier and right now I feel fresh.”
