What time and TV channel is Liverpool v Barcelona on in Ireland? Kick-off time, team news, results, betting odds and more

Liverpool will attempt to overcome a three goal deficit when they welcome Barcelona to Anfield this evening.

Jurgen Klopp's side couldn't stop Barca's magic forward line at the Nou Camp as Lionel Messi added two goals after Luis Suarez opened the scoring.

It leaves Liverpool with a huge uphill battle if they are to make the Champions League final for the second successive season.

But they will be hoping they have enough attacking firepower of their own to mount a memorable comeback.

Here is all you need to know about the match:

When is it on?

Midfielders Naby Keita and Adam Lallana remain sidelined.

Barcelona rested key players Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez, Gerard Pique, Ivan Rakitic, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba at the weekend.

But Ousmane Dembele could be a doubt after suffering a thigh injury in the 2-0 defeat to Celtic Vigo.

Barcelona boss Ernesto Valverde said: “Having two important players out is a big miss for them.

“We know the influence they can have. But they still have fast players who can put you in uncomfortable situations.

“We want to have the feeling we're in control. There's no doubt they will attack us.

“They have lost one game this season in the Premier League and that was away from home. They are an opponent with a fantastic strategy.

“We're facing a rival who could beat us. Seeing the ground, I don't think we'll be relaxing. We'll face up like we've done so often this season.”

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp: “Some things will be new, 100%, with not really any time to train. That’s how it is, but I am still looking forward to it. It’s all good. It’s the Champions League and you want to be a part of it.

“We have to make a lot of decisions for this game. Tomorrow will be the third game in six days and Barcelona [who have already wrapped up the La Liga title] changed 11 players on Saturday.”
