What time and TV channel is Kilmacud Crokes v Ballyboden St Enda's on? Throw-in time and more

Live GAA is back on TV screens this weekend as club championships get up and running around the country.

Two powerhouses of Dublin hurling square in front of the cameras as south-side rivals Ballyboden St Enda's and Klmacud Crokes clash in Group 2 of the Dublin Senior Hurling Championship.

Here's everything you need to know about the game:

Where and when is it?

The match takes place at Parnell Park on Sunday, July 19.

What time is throw-in?

Throw-in is at 3pm.

What channel is it on?

TG4 will show the game live on GAA Beo, with coverage beginning at 2:30pm.

“There are people out there, they’re not even into hurling, but they’re looking forward to seeing a hurling game,” said TG4 sports editor Ronan O Coisdealbha.

“This is definitely the longest we’ve gone without any live GAA.

“From the middle of March, once the lockdown began we started putting out two games every Sunday so the All-Ireland Gold series did really well,” O Coisdealbha explained.

“By June people were tired of looking at old games. It’s alright giving the audience the odd old game here and there, they love it, but we’ve seen a dip in numbers from the beginning of June onwards.

“Now, it’s funny, because we had the 1991 All-Ireland football final last Sunday between Down and Meath. It was an awful day, the weather was bad, so it spiked up again.

“The numbers were good for that on Sunday but, in general, I think it’s come to a stage where people just want to see live sport again.”
