Celtic begin their pre-season schedule with a friendly clash in Portugal this evening.

The Hoops are training at a state-of-the-art performance centre near near Faro before jetting off to Japan to play two games over there.

Brendan Rodgers' first game since returning as Celtic boss comes against Portuguese top flight side Portimonense, who finished one place above the relegation zone last season.

A number of fringe players are expected to be given game time in the match.
