What time and TV channel is Atalanta vs Manchester United on today in the Champions League

Manchester United will surely be looking to build on the momentum created by their 3-0 victory over Tottenham, when they take on Atalanta at the Gewiss Stadium tonight in the Champions League.

The pressure has eased on United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after the win in London, which came thanks to goals from Cristiano Ronaldo, Edinson Cavani and Marcus Rashford. The United hammering saw Nuno Espirito Santo sacked as Spurs boss as well.

But the pressure won't go away forever on the Norwegian unless United can pick up a few wins on the bounce, starting with Atalanta in a crucial Champions league Group stage encounter in Italy tonight.

United then host Manchester derby rivals City at the weekend.

These two sides played out a thrilling clash two weeks ago, with United coming from 2-0 down at half-time to claim a 3-2 victory thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire and United hero Cristiano Ronaldo.

Quotes corner

In the build up to the match, Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: "Atalanta are a team with unique style of play and still believe in themselves. It is always little things they might try to do different to win any game.

"We are the same as them, you always try to cause problems for the opposition.

Special style. Attacking, aggressive, the coach shines that energy.

"It is also exciting to watch and we have followed them for a while. What they have done in last five years has been remarkable. A very nice club with very good people."

Solskjaer said he was enjoying the recent "criticism" of his management.

"Criticism can make you doubt yourself or you can stand up for yourself. I've always enjoyed it, keep it coming. We've all got different jobs and it is their jobs to give their opinion," he said.

"I am not here to fight with anyone."
