The All-Ireland champions of 2019 and 2018 go toe-to-toe on Saturday evening as Tipperary host Limerick in the Allianz Hurling League Division 1 opener.

The Treaty men are defending their league title and begin that defence on the road this weekend.

Off-field incidents involving Limerick players have made the headlines over the winter and they will hope to let their hurling do the talking this year, starting on Saturday night.

Liam Sheedy made a glorious return to the Tipp managerial post last year and will look for his team to pick up where they left off.
