What time and channel is the Sean Cox charity match on? Ticket info, team news and more

The Aviva Stadium will play host as Liverpool and Ireland legends come together to play a charity match in honour of Sean Cox.

The dad of three is currently rehabilitating after sustaining life-changing injuries in a vicious assault outside Anfield last year.

He was seriously injured last April after he was attacked by AS Roma supporters before Liverpool's Champions League semi-final tie outside Anfield.

Cox will make his first public appearance in Friday's game as he leaves hospital for the first time since the attack.

And the Dunboyne man also addressed the public for the first time this morning.

In the heartwarming video, Cox said: "Thank you" and gave a thumbs up to everybody who has helped with fundraising since his attack.

When and where is the match on?

The match will take place at the Aviva Stadium, Dublin and will kick off at 7:45 PM.

Is it on TV?

The game will not be shown live on TV.

Are tickets still available?

Tickets are still available and can be bought through Ticketmaster.ie.

Adult tickets will cost €30, U16's tickets are available for €10 while family tickets (Two adults and two children) are €70.
