Tipperary maintained their perfect Championship run to see off All-Ireland champions Limerick in Thurles the last time they played, but it didn't stop them from setting up a Munster final rematch.
Despite Tipperary winning 1-22 to 0-21 the last time out, Clare beat Cork in Ennis which set up an immediate replay for the provincial decider.
The final table in Munster saw Tipperary on top with eight points while Limerick, Cork and Clare follow on four each.
Scoring difference meant that Cork became set for an All-Ireland preliminary quarter-final, with Clare eliminated from the Championship altogether.
