Kilkenny get their Allianz Hurling League campaign for 2020 underway at home to Dublin in Nowlan Park this afternoon.
The Cats didn't impress in last year's league campaign but hit their stride over the summer, eventually falling at the final hurdle in the All-Ireland final against Tipperary.
Dublin topped Division 1B last year and took their form into the Championship, knocking out Galway in Leinster. They were then stunned, however, by Laois and knocked out of the All-Ireland in shocking fashion.
Brian Cody's men go into this one as favourites but are without the services of their Ballyhale Shamrocks contingent, after they sealed back-to-back All-Ireland club titles last week.
