Westmeath face the ominous task of trying to overcome Cork in a preliminary quarter-final this weekend, but are just one win away from the final six.
Cork will travel to Mullingar to face the Joe McDonagh Cup runners-up on Sunday, with a showdown against Kilkenny the prize for the winner.
John Meyler's men are heavy favourites however, and have already enjoyed wins over Limerick and Waterford in Munster while Westmeath come off the back of a disappointing 11-point loss to Laois in Croke Park.
