What time and channel is Armenia U21s v Ireland U21s? Team news, TV info and more for the Euro 2021 qualifier

Stephen Kenny will bring a somewhat depleted Ireland under-21 squad to Armenia this week in a crucial period for his side's Euro 2021 hopes.

Kenny's side face Armenia in Yerevan and will then rush home for a crucial home tie against Sweden - but Kenny will have to do without many of his lieutenants in Armenia and possibly against the Swedes too.

The squad is without captain Jayson Molumby and full-back Lee O'Connor as the pair serve suspensions against Armenia - with O'Connor also called up to the senior setup.

Troy Parrott and Aaron Connolly too were called up to Mick McCarthy's side, and now Kenny has lost five players from his original squad and has been forced to bring in more reinforcements.

Michael Obafemi, Caomhin Kelleher, Neil Farrugia, Conor Masterson and Trevor Clarke have all been forced out of the Armenia clash at the very least.

But with the unfortunate circumstances comes opportunity as Gavin Bazunu is set to earn his first cap at U21 level in place of Kelleher - while Ross County forward Simon Power, Southampton defender Kameron Ledwidge and West Ham striker Anthony Scully are all given a chance to impress as a result.
