Tiemoue Bakayoko seems certain to leave Chelsea this summer.
The midfielder spent last season on loan at AC Milan and would have joined permanently had they secured Champions League football for next term, but now another club are interested.
According to RMC Sport , Manchester United are now an option for the French international should Paul Pogba leave the club this summer amid links to La Liga giants Real Madrid.
But when addressing his future last month, Bakayoko admitted he was in the dark in regards to where he will be playing his football next season.
"My future? Yes, I will go back to Chelsea," he told French publication L'Equipe. "I still have a three-year contract. I have no choice.
"I don't know what will happen after that but I have to go back to Chelsea. It is the only thing I know.
"I had difficult moments [at Milan], especially at the start. I'm sad to go away but this is life.
"Gattuso? I had a complicated relationship with him, we didn't understand each other. I don't really want to talk about him.
"It is difficult to hear certain things, especially when they are false. It didn't go the way it was told but we know the current world, a piece of news is enough to analyse the situation."

Bakayoko is away with the Chelsea squad for their pre-season tour in Dublin and could feature in new head coach Frank Lampard's first game against Bohemians on Wednesday.
However, competition for places in midfield has placed his future in doubt.
Last week the Blues confirmed the signing of Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid on a permanent deal which means Bakayoko has been pushed even further down the pecking order.
