Chelsea have won the Champions League for a second time after beating Manchester City 1-0 in the final.
The Blues took the lead on the stroke of half-time after Kai Havertz rounded Ederson and sent the travelling supporters wild.
It was a hard fight in the second-half for Chelsea to keep the Premier League champions out, but one they passed with flying colours.
A defender who would have been tipped to play a huge part in that was Thiago Silva, but he was substituted in the first-half after pulling up with a muscular injury.
It came as a huge blow - but thankfully not a costly one - for Thomas Tuchel, with the Brazilian centre-back being integral this season for the Blues.
Silva was brought in on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain last summer, with his contract at the Parc des Princes expiring, just months after Champions League heartbreak for the French club.
The 36-year-old defender and Tuchel, who left PSG late last year, were beaten 1-0 by Bayern Munich in the final of the competition, but this season, it was the other way around.
A photo taken after the game has emerged of the two embracing with a hug, which is almost an exact replica of an image from last season's final - although, they are of course in very different circumstances.
Last year, Silva and Tuchel were pictured embracing by the trophy as Paris Saint-Germain lost out to Bayern Munich in the final, but this time the duo were sharing an embrace with very different emotions, having won the trophy that eluded them last season.
Silva has been imperious for the Blues this season - with the west London club reportedly in talks over a one-year extension for the centre-half, with his deal set to expire at Stamford Bridge in a months' time.
Tuchel has Silva, Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, Kurt Zouma and Andreas Christensen as his centre-back options, with all five defenders impressing this season.
