What the Wolverhampton Wanderers camp are saying about Newcastle United ahead of Super Sunday clash

Wolverhampton Wanderers star Romain Saiss has issued a warning to Newcastle United ahead of the crunch clash at St James' Park.

The Morocco international netted a goal in the 2-1 win away to Slovan Bratislava this week but now has eyes for another victory on Tyneside.

Wolves have barely had time to recover from the trip to Slovakia this week, but Saiss commented: "We have to continue in this way to get points and go to Newcastle to win the game because we have a tough week that's coming.

"We have to be ready, first, recovery and then tomorrow we are going to start to prepare for this game because it's important for us."

Wolves will arrive at United having kept a clean sheet away to Manchester City in their last away match following a European night.

And Saiss indicated they would be ready to make life difficult for the Magpies this weekend.

He said: "I think the most important is to become more compact on the pitch, to become more organised, don't give the ball easier and a lot of spaces like in the first-half (at Slovan) and when we recovered the ball we were higher so it was easier to attack this team so we are happy."

Wolves trained on Friday and travelled to Newcastle on Saturday.

Nuno Espirito Santo admits it has been a tough schedule: "It’s been tough – the schedules have been really tight for us.

"Yesterday, we played, we are travelling in the night, we are in the morning working, trying to recover the players so we can compete in the best way on Sunday."
