Spurs fans have turned up outside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium two hours ahead of kick-off against Southampton in order to aim a protest against chairman Daniel Levy and club owners ENIC.
The fans outside the stadium in N17 were there in order to show their displeasure with Levy and the owners for their decision to try and enter the now failed proposed Super League.
Chelsea fans were out in force on Tuesday evening ahead of the Blues' clash with Brighton and Hove Albion and their numbers were said to be over 1,000, forcing the closure of the roads around Stamford Bridge.
Following all six of the English teams withdrawing from the Super League, the numbers are not on the same scale at Tottenham but a noticeable crowd were gathered to chant and hold signs registering their displeasure with the club.
The most common sign spotted read simply "ENIC OUT" in reference to the company owned by Joe Lewis, the majority shareholder at Tottenham.
"Levy Out" chants were heard as the crowd made their opinions known on the Spurs chairman and his role in entering the club as a founding member of the Super League.
Another chant heard loud and clear was "We want our Tottenham back" following what many fans have deemed a betrayal of the club by the chairman and owners.
There was no noticeable extra security at the stadium and little police presence. The group of Tottenham fans were peacefully protesting, and unlike outside Stamford Bridge last night, the number was nowhere near four-figures.
This evening's game sees Ryan Mason take charge of his first-ever professional match as a manager following his appointment as interim boss until the end of the season, after Levy gave Jose Mourinho his marching orders on Monday.
Mason has just one game to get to grips with management before leading his team out at Wembley for the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City on Sunday afternoon.
The new boss will no doubt be hoping Spurs can perform as well as they did the last time they took on Ralph Hasenhüttl's Southampton side, when Tottenham ran out comprehensive 5-2 winners.
