Peter Cole at the Independent on Sunday devotes his column to the coming London newspaper war. He can't imagine why Rupert Murdoch and Lord Rothermere are launching their papers. Tim Luckhurst, also in the Sindy, considers the value of taking a media studies degree. Peter Preston, at The Observer, thinks age may not wither old media audiences and may very well grow them.
