What the pundits are predicting for Tottenham's Premier League clash with Watford

Tottenham will be hoping to return to winning ways when they return to Premier League action against bottom side Watford tomorrow afternoon (Saturday).

Spurs were thrashed 7-2 by Bayern Munich in the Champions League and 3-0 by Brighton in the Premier League before the international break.

The defeats have resulted in questions being asked about Mauricio Pochettino's long-term position, while a number of senior players are also consistently linked with an exit from north London.

And should another sub-par result be witnessed this weekend, the pressure upon the Spurs squad would increase significantly ahead of the next round of Champions League fixtures in the week.

But only one of three pundits believe Watford will collect anything from this weekend's game - and you can see what they have had to say below.

Michael Owen - Bet Victor - Spurs to win and both teams to score

Watford are without a win so far this season, but they did keep a rare clean sheet last time [against Sheffield United] – their first in 19 Premier League games.

Spurs have conceded 10 goals in their last couple of competitive games and they, too, badly need three points to get their season back on track.

Spurs have won three of their four home league games so far this term, however, and I expect to see the hosts pick up a valuable three points against a Hornets side who currently prop up the table.

Tottenham v Watford: Mauricio Pochettino press conference

Charlie Nicholas - Sky Sports - 1-1

Watford will be working away with Quique Sanchez Flores, despite some poor results since coming back to the club, with Tottenham coming back at sixes and sevens after the international break. They are all over the place.

Christian Eriksen remains unhappy, Dele Alli did not receive an England call-up, with their unpredictable defence topping it off. More woes for Tottenham.

Mark Lawrenson - BBC Sport -  3-0

This is a good fixture for Tottenham, who need a big response after being beaten by Brighton.

Watford picked up a point in their last game, at home to Sheffield United, but I think they will have to wait a bit longer for their first win of the season.
