What the pundits are predicting for Fulham's Premier League clash with Bournemouth

Fulham’s relegation from the Premier League has already been confirmed but Scott Parker’s side are intent on playing for pride.

A fantastic victory over Everton was secured last weekend, with the Cottagers seeing off a side who had previously secured consecutive wins against Chelsea, West Ham and Arsenal.

Another tough test awaits this weekend though as Fulham clash with a Bournemouth side who still harbour slim hopes of a seventh-placed finish and a potential spot in next season’s Europa League.

While Fulham will be full of confidence after their win last weekend, a trio of pundits are all expecting Parker’s side to suffer defeat against the Cherries.

You can see what they had to say below.

Mark Lawrenson (3-0 Bournemouth) - BBC

Both of these teams returned to form with good wins last time out - and it is good to sees some signs of life at Fulham following their relegation.

The Cottagers have got the worst away record in the top flight, though, so it is hard to see them following that up with another positive result this weekend.

I am backing Bournemouth to kick on, and score some more goals.

Michael Owen (Bournemouth win) - BetVictor

Bournemouth haven’t won in their last four home league games, but I think they will buck that trend against Fulham even though the Cottagers picked up a rare win and clean sheet against Everton at Craven Cottage last weekend.

Bournemouth put five past Brighton at the Amex Stadium at the weekend, and there are almost invariably goals in Bournemouth games with 110 scored so far in their 34 previous Premier League games so far this season.

The Cherries to win a game with chances at both ends.

Danielle Carter, Danny Rose and Troy Deeney speak out on PFA anti-racism #Enough campaign

Paul Merson (3-1 Bournemouth) - Sky Sports

Both had great results last weekend with Fulham beating Everton and Bournemouth destroying Brighton. It will be an open game in the sunshine, and I expect both teams to really go for it, with little riding on it.

Bournemouth have found their goalscoring touch once again so I expect them to come out on top.
