Chelsea jumped up to fifth in the Premier League on Wednesday when they brushed aside Brighton and they will be looking to move further up the table on Monday Night Football.
London rivals West Ham United travel to Stamford Bridge for the crucial encounter and three top pundits are predicting goals galore.
The good news for Chelsea fans is Paul Merson, Mark Lawrenson and Michael Owen are all backing the Blues to prevail.
Not just that, Arsenal legend Merson is predicting a 3-0 victory for the hosts and has explained why he believes Maurizio Sarri’s men will enjoy a comfortable win.
“Nothing but a Chelsea win here,” Merson told Sky Sports. “West Ham are on the beach a bit as they are safe and going nowhere. They were very fortunate against and then they got found out against Everton and if it wasn't for Fabianski it could have been any score.
'Loves the club, Christensen is finished!' - Chelsea supporters baffled over David Luiz update
“I thought Chelsea were very good against Brighton, it's probably the best I have seen them play in a long time. I expect Chelsea to win comfortably.”
Lawrenson echoed Merson’s thoughts and has predicted a 2-0 home victory in his BBC column, while Owen believes Chelsea will win and both teams will score.
Owen explained in his BetVictor column: “Chelsea followed up their late win at Cardiff with a resounding 3-0 home win over Brighton on Wednesday and will be hoping to make it a quick double when they host West Ham.
What Maurizio Sarri has said about Ruben Loftus-Cheek's injury ahead of West Ham
“Victory is looking essential to keep their top four hopes alive and with only one defeat on home soil in the PL this term they have made Stamford Bridge quite a fortress. The Hammers have taken just one point from a possible last eighteen on the road and despite plenty of attacking flair are highly unlikely to add to that tally here.”
