What the Pelicans could do with the No. 4 pick from the Lakers

The Pelicans just got done trading Anthony Davis, but according to multiple reports, they may not be done yet. There’s a possibility they could trade the fourth overall pick in the 2019 draft they just got from the Lakers, and that is a great idea. Here’s why:

It’s a three player draft this year with Zion Williamson, Ja Morant, and R.J. Barrett. After those three, there’s uncertainty about who is going to be worth such a high pick. And, on top of all that, the Pelicans could build a playoff-worthy base of Lonzo Ball, Jrue Holiday, Brandon Ingram, Zion Williamson and whoever they trade the fourth pick for.

Could it be a big man like Myles Turner, who could clog up the middle with Zion? A scoring shooting guard like Bradley Beal? Could they use it to move up and take Barrett, Williamson’s Duke teammate and close friend? Stay tuned.
