KARIS TEETAN (Mr Stunning)

“He had a lovely trip and I’m just so happy. It’s incredible. I’ve never felt like this. It’s the first time I’ve heard the crowd shouting like this. I just knew when I pressed the button he was going to go.”

SAM CLIPPERTON (D B Pin)

“I just needed that luck and unfortunately the luck enabled Karis to get a neck start on me and my horse is held a neck at the line. I had a lovely run and the race was run to suit me, other than I was beaten. I am very proud of my horse and he has run an absolute cracker in his only second run after 11 months off. My horse was gallant. It was a great training performance by John Size to get him there in that order and I must say well done to Karis Teetan.”

RYAN MOORE (Beat The Clock)

“That was a big run – he finished off the race well.”

ZAC PURTON (Little Giant)

“It was a very good run.”

DOUGLAS WHYTE (Born In China)

“He never knows how to run a bad race. He was in the prize money again so all good.”

CHRISTOPHE LEMAIRE (Ivictory)

“He was a bit keen. He gave the impression that he would run better, but he struggled in the last 100 metres.”

HUGH BOMAN (Lim’s Cruiser)

“He travelled great throughout and picked up well but was no match for the class.”

YUGA KAWADA (Fine Needle)

“Japanese are not used to waiting so long in the gate. This was bad luck.”

JOAO MOREIRA (Hot King Prawn)

“He did not race his best today.”

SILVESTRE DE SOUSA (Winner’s Way)

“He ran good. He just did not have much room in the last 200 metres.”

GERALD MOSSE (Sir Dancealot)

“He is a lovely horse, but they went very quick. He does not have that speed. He needs at least seven furlongs, maybe a mile will be better for him.”
